Simplicity, Success And Finding Your Profitable Niche with Maiko Sakai
Maiko Sakai, the founder of Airtight Concepts, is a business strategy consultant a.k.a. secret weapon, confidant and silent partner to visionary entrepreneurs and CEOs with the desire to build a high-functioning, profit-generating business of their dreams.
Her mission is simple: Help service business owners shift from operating a transactional business to a transformational business through her two business programs, “Define + Refine Your Profitable Niche” and “BusinessOptimizer 360.”
As a self-proclaimed “Queen of Counterintuitive Strategies,” she provides effective but not-so-conventional strategies to boost sustainable profitability for her clients’ businesses by utilising both quantitative and qualitative assessments. Originally from Yokohama, Japan, Maiko considers herself a New Yorker, loves ethnic foods of all kinds, and is a minimalist, a sucker for ultra-contemporary design and exotic house plants. She earned her MBA from Cornell University.
In this episode of The Debra Shepherd Podcast, Maiko shares her story. We talk about simplicity, success, meaningful living, finding your profitable niche and fine dining but not in the way you might expect.
